Aspen Brook Consulting, Inc., announces the 2010 Bioprocess Management Summit. This event, occurring February 24th-26th, 2010 at The Canyons Hotel and Conference Center in Park City UT, has been designed as a forum where members of the bioprocess community gather annually to share their knowledge and experience in an effort to address challenges facing the biopharmaceutical industry.
For the 2010 Summit, the challenges to be addressed include: The Role of Measurement and Control Technology in Achieving Increased Product Quality, An Evaluation of Best Practices and Industry Norms for Achieving Improved Bioprocess Performance, Managing Risk through a Risk Based Approach and The Role of Single-Use Solutions in Reducing Operating Costs.
To address these challenges, the 2010 Summit features 10 hours of moderated in-depth panel discussions. Each panel features six subject matter experts from the biopharmaceutical industry; three from leading End Users and three from leading Vendors. Additionally, attendees of the 2010 Bioprocess Management Summit will receive a Knowledge Networking Toolkit consisting of exclusive access to The Summit website and associated Twitter© portal for the purpose of ensuring the exchange of knowledge and the continued building of the community.
The Founder of the Bioprocess Management Summit, Larry West, notes “amongst end users and vendors within the biopharmaceutical industry there needs to be a community, one which values both the knowledge to be shared and benefits to be gained from the elevating of relationships to partnerships, if our industry is to thrive in this new economy.”
The 2010 Bioprocess Management Summit will feature a Keynote Address by Dennis Fenton, former Executive Vice President of Global Operations at Amgen and Lee Littlepage, former President of Letek, titled “What can be achieved when “Us and Them” becomes “We”.
