Successful rollout across multiple clinic locations showcases the effectiveness of the ASP delivery model for funded doctors in Ontario

Nightingale Informatix Corporation ("Nightingale" or the "Company") (TSX-V: NGH), an application service provider (ASP) of electronic medical record (EMR) software and related services, announced today that it has been selected to provide its electronic medical record (EMR) system hosted at eHealth Ontario to all three Uptown Health Centre locations.

Nightingale On Demand, the company's fully web based ASP EMR had been successfully implemented to support Uptown's 15 primary care doctors and specialists as well as 10 allied healthcare. As a result of this agreement the system now will be rolled out on the Nightingale platform at eHealth Ontario allowing doctors to access funding provided through OntarioMD.

"Our success stems from creating a one-stop primary healthcare environment for our patients and Nightingale supports the operational efficiency and continuity of care we require within and across all of our locations," said Moe Jiwan, Managing Director of Uptown Health Centre. "We continuously evaluate the latest healthcare software and services and Nightingale is alone in delivering a seamless end-to-end system that meets our clinical and business needs."

Nightingale on Demand provides electronic medical records, integrated labs, medications, patient scheduling and billing functions as well as clinical and business analysis and reporting. In addition to supporting primary care doctors and specialists in urology and dermatology, it is also used in Uptown's busy walk-in medical clinics and by doctors doing house calls in the community.

"I am very impressed with the way the application supports us in managing an efficient health care environment and deliver high quality care during our busy urgent care clinics while easily document visits in a legible and timely way," said Dr. Anu Kaushal, lead physician at Uptown Health Centre. "But while any EMR will let you save information electronically, Nightingale makes it easy to access it at the point of care, and to get it out in a way that truly enables the delivery of a proactive care model."

Uptown is one of a growing community of organizations focused on preventative care, delivering programs and services that empower patients in the management of their own care. Nightingale allows all care providers at Uptown to access relevant health information so that patients experience a continuity of care from, physiotherapists, massage therapists, naturopathic doctors and more. Uptown is also using Nightingale's robust patient portal giving patients online access to their own medical records as well as to other healthcare services that would otherwise require a visit to the clinic.

"Nightingale is proud to be a partner with this growing organization as it seeks to enhance the way modern healthcare is managed and delivered," said Sam Chebib, President and CEO of Nightingale. "This relationship demonstrates that Nightingale On Demand is the EMR of choice for busy medical clinics that want to offer efficient multidisciplinary care across multiple locations".

This 3-year agreement will contribute more than $200 thousand in revenue over its term. The selection of Nightingale by Uptown demonstrates that the company continues to gain acceptance and recognition as a valuable partner to multidisciplinary medical practices interested in delivering high quality care in the most efficient and effective way.
