U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen
Sebelius and senior HHS officials leading the H1N1 response at the
Department will hold a press conference, at the National Press Club on
Thursday, December 17, 2009. Secretary Sebelius and top experts
from HHS, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the
National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the Food and Drug
Administration (FDA), and the Biomedical Advance Research and
Development Authority (BARDA) will provide updates and give
perspective on the H1N1 outbreak and discuss the next phase of the
response to the pandemic.
