Clear One Health Plans, Inc. (OTCBB: CCHN) introduces its new Medicare Advantage PPO plan, the first plan to include both out-of-network coverage and in-network coverage in Central Oregon, Southern California, and Arizona. The new Clear One Explorer PPO Plan is available January 1, 2010 for residents in Deschutes and Crook counties. The new plan provides affordable, accessible health care coverage through in-network doctors in Central Oregon, Palm Springs, CA and Phoenix, AZ. Members may also see any out-of-network doctor accepting Medicare in the United States utilizing their out of network benefits, and worldwide coverage for urgent and emergency care.

“We look forward to being a part of this new partnership with Clear One Health Plans”

“Our members have been asking for a plan they can take with them wherever they go. Our new PPO plan was designed for members who have a second home in Palm Springs or Phoenix areas or who travel and want the reassurance of being covered, and want the peace of mind of being covered in the places they call home,” said Patricia Gibford, President and Chief Executive Officer of Clear One Health Plans. “Unlike any other plan offered in the area, members have both the security to see in-network doctors, which are doctors who are contracted with Clear One and have agreed to see our members, as well as the freedom to see out-of-network doctors anywhere in the U.S."

As the only plan in the area to offer this unique combination, Clear One Explorer PPO members will have access to a vast array of high quality providers through a unique partnership with the Empire Physicians Medicare Group. The Empire Physicians Medical Group (EPMG) has approximately 280 practicing Primary Care Physicians and specialty care providers practicing in Coachella Valley, including Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Indio, and Desert Hot Springs in California.

“We are excited to have Empire Physicians Medical Group join our provider network. Their commitment to excellence in health care has earned them a solid reputation as one of the most experience and talented medical groups in Southern California," stated Gibford. “In addition to our current network of doctors in Central Oregon, the Empire Physicians Medical Group will our provide members with additional access to more than 280 in-network Primary Care Physicians and specialists in the Palm Springs area.”

“We look forward to being a part of this new partnership with Clear One Health Plans," stated Steven Dorfman, MD, President of Empire Physicians Medical Group. “Since 1986 we have remained committed to improving the health and well being of our patents and are excited to offer our expertise to Clear One members.”

The monthly premium for the Clear One Explorer PPO Plan is $147. Any permanent resident of Deschutes or Crook County can enroll. Residents must be enrolled in Medicare Part A and B, and must not have End Stage Renal Disease. No other exclusions or health conditions apply. Members enrolled can see specialists without referrals and Part D prescription drug coverage is included. Members generally pay less for services provided by in-network doctors than services provided by out-of-network doctors.
