The Komen 3-Day for the Cure is a three-day, 60-mile walk - the greatest distance you can go in the fight against breast cancer.
Women are more likely than men to cite motivation and boredom as the top reasons for not exercising(2). The Komen 3-Day for the Cure provides individuals with months of training, group activities and a challenging goal to stave off boredom while fundraising for a worthy cause.

"Training to walk 60 miles in three days requires commitment. Like other Komen events, proceeds from the 3-Day for the Cure fund innovative global breast cancer research and local community programs supporting education, screening and treatment.
