Envision Pharmaceutical Services receives high customer satisfaction rating for second consecutive year

The Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute (PBMI) recently released the results of its 2009 Pharmacy Benefit Management Customer Satisfaction Report and Envision Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. received the highest overall customer scores for the second straight year. The company received the highest average rating in overall service and performance and delivering on promised savings of the 14 pharmacy benefit management (PBM) companies profiled in the report.

“Guaranteeing our customers’ savings is the cornerstone of our pass through business model”

Employers participating in this survey are asked specifically to rate their own PBM. Once again, the PBMI report indicates that employers remain satisfied with their PBM providers. For the fourth year in a row, financial transparency in contracting and business philosophy and delivering on promises continue to be strongly correlated to overall employer satisfaction.

The report rates the PBMs on three areas of satisfaction—overall service and performance, delivering promised savings and delivering promised services—and also looked at 15 dimensions of service. For the second year in a row, Envision continued to lead the results in overall service and performance with an 8.9 rating, on a 10-point scale. By comparison, employers participating in the survey rated their PBMs an average overall service and performance rating of 7.6.

Additionally, Envision was the only PBM to not only receive an 8.2 or above rating in each of the 15 categories with a rating of 9.0 in account management.
