The
National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP), a
not-for-profit pharmacy standards development organization, announced
its upcoming Educational Summit, Health
Information Exchange and Pharmacy, February 2, 2010 in Austin, TX.
The program will cover current health information exchange (HIE)
initiatives underway at the state and regional levels, and take an
in-depth look at the impact on pharmacy. The Educational Summit is open
to NCPDP members and non-members.

Pharmacists who attend this Educational Summit will be able to earn up
to four Continuing Education (CE) Credits from the ACPE. CE Credit is
being provided by AmerisourceBergen Corporation, an ACPE-approved
provider of continuing pharmaceutical education.
