Excelsior Medical donates medical supplies to support Haiti earthquake relief effort

Excelsior Medical Corporation, one of the leading manufacturers of pre-filled catheter flush syringes, today announced that it is donating medical supplies to support the Haiti earthquake relief effort.

“It’s important for a company like ours to remember that we are all citizens of the world and as such, we ought to behave in a sensitive, socially responsible manner.”

The company will donate two shipping containers full of supplies, including its ZR pre-filled saline and heparin flush syringes and saline bags. The syringes and saline bags will assist in the intravenous delivery of essential medications and other fluids that are now needed on a massive scale.

“We are saddened by the tragedy that has devastated the people of Haiti, and we are extending our support by donating essential medical supplies for IV therapy,” said Bill Rice, Excelsior’s President and CEO. “It’s important for a company like ours to remember that we are all citizens of the world and as such, we ought to behave in a sensitive, socially responsible manner.”
