Customer Care department of Murad named finalist for 2010 Stevie Awards

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

Murad, Inc. announced today that its Customer Care department has been named a finalist for the 2010 Stevie Awards for Customer Service Department of the Year. Thanks to high scores received from the judges after a month-long preliminary judging process, Murad is now one of nine finalists selected from a pool of more than 500 nominees.

“Although being a Stevie Award finalist, up against customer service departments from organizations all over the world, is quite an honor as well!”

The winner will be announced at the annual Stevie Awards dinner in Miami Beach on Monday, February 22.

Known for its attentive and knowledgeable customer service, Murad last year further enhanced the customer experience for purchasers of its Acne Complex and Resurgence lines by providing personal Certified Skincare Specialists available on-call. Each Certified Skincare Specialist at Murad is a dedicated professional personally vested in each customer’s path to skin health and trained by Howard Murad, M.D., Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA and founder of Murad, Inc. The new customer service perk is of no additional cost to the consumer and helped secure Murad the Stevie Nomination.

“We believe that the added benefit of providing a personal Certified Skincare Specialist helps our customers achieve desired results even faster,” said Murad’s Customer Care Director, Laura Hernandez. “One of the benefits of providing personalized assistance is that it enables users of Murad products to customize their regimen to meet individual needs.

“At Murad, we have been and continue to be committed to making every customer say ‘WOW!’ We’ve been getting terrific feedback and that’s what’s most important to us,” added Hernandez, “Although being a Stevie Award finalist, up against customer service departments from organizations all over the world, is quite an honor as well!”
