APWU Health Plan along with UnitedHealthcare created calendars to educate and motivate postal and federal employees to live life well. The calendar included tips on staying healthy, an exercise log and various links to sites of interest. Living life well consists of getting the regular care you need, prescription coverage, emergency care, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
The calendar recently won a bronze award in the Calendar category at the Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA). SIAA recognizes the creativity and communication accomplishments of the service industry. This year nearly 300 agencies and 900 institutions participated in the competition. Competitors are judged based on creativity, execution, quality, consumer appeal and overall breakthrough advertising content.
