United American Insurance introduces new 2010 Medicare Supplement plans

United American Insurance Company recently announced the introduction of new 2010 Medicare Supplement standardized plans that meet the requirements set forth by the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act (MIPPA) of 2008.  In general, United American's Medicare Supplement products are attained-age, gender-distinct, smoker/nonsmoker, and geographic area rated. These new plans are now available.

Chuck R. Mankamyer, Senior Vice President of General Agents for United American, says, "United American has been in the Medicare Supplement marketplace since Medicare began in 1966, and we are excited to offer several of the new standardized Medicare Supplement plans."
