The National Business Group on Health, a non-profit association of large employers, has honored Healthways, Inc. (NASDAQ: HWAY) for its commitment and dedication to promoting a healthy workplace and encouraging their colleagues and families to support and maintain healthy lifestyles.

Healthways, a well-being improvement company, was among the employers that received the 2010 Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles award at the Leadership Summit sponsored by the National Business Group on Health's Institute on Innovation in Workforce Well-Being. Healthways received a Gold Award for its innovative Move to Health engagement program. This marks the second year Move to Health has received an award.

Move to Health was designed to motivate individuals, both colleagues and family members, to take charge of their health by reducing preventable risks and improving their social, emotional and physical well-being. Move to Health offers participants a full range of personalized programs including robust incentives, communications and prevention tools including the Healthways Well-Being AssessmentSM, screening, one-on-one health coaching, online fitness and nutrition plans, weight management, tobacco cessation programs and free access to fitness centers nationwide.
