CHCA selects MedQuist to improve clinical documentation workflow

MedQuist Inc. MedQuist offers an industry-leading healthcare information management platform (DocQment Enterprise Platform® or DEP), which serves as the foundation for its transcription service offerings and includes workflow management, core measures reporting, structured documentation, data analytics, and key customer reporting. Other MedQuist solutions include SpeechQ® real-time interactive speech recognition for radiology and general medicine, DocQvoice® for capturing dictation, and computer-assisted coding and abstracting. In the latest example of its support for providers nationwide, MedQuist recently signed an agreement with Child Health Corporation of America (CHCA) for clinical documentation and computer-assisted coding technology and outsourced medical transcription and coding services.  MedQuist will implement DEP in-house at CHCA Owner Hospitals as a Web-based solution for clinical documentation workflow.

MedQuist currently provides services for 14 CHCA children's hospitals, where its technologies are transforming traditional transcription to increase productivity, drive out costs, promote physician satisfaction, and support high quality patient care.
