Networking Technology, Inc. (NTI), the leader in electronic health solutions, today announced that their electronic health record modular technology, RxNT eHr V 7.0 earned additional certification in CCHIT's Preliminary ARRA IFR Stage 1 program.

“Offering clients a certified eRx solution today and the assurance that they can upgrade to our EHR tomorrow makes a lot of sense.”

RxNT eHr V 7.0 preliminarily now meets 19 out of 24 requirements for certified EHR technology for Eligible Providers published by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in the Interim Final Rule (IFR) of January 2010. These requirements were revised with the publication of the Final Rule on July 13. Inspection information is available at http://www.cchit.org/products/ifrstage1/arraeligibleprovider/1928. For the purpose of qualifying products for ARRA incentives, CCHIT anticipates, but has not yet received, accreditation by HHS. This achievement makes Networking Technology, Inc. the only company in the U.S. to have both a CCHIT Certified® 2011 ePrescribing certification for RxNT eRx V 6.1.4 and a separate Preliminary ARRA IFR Stage 1 certification for RxNT eHr V 7.0.

"We believe by offering a Preliminary ARRA IFR modular EHR solution, we are assuring new and existing clients that we can provide them with a clear path to the future without any increase in their annual budget," states Randy Boldyga, President/CEO of RxNT. "Offering clients a certified eRx solution today and the assurance that they can upgrade to our EHR tomorrow makes a lot of sense."
