Better Living Health and Community Services is hosting a moderated forum for the frontrunners for Toronto's mayoralty to discuss the issues that matter most to seniors.

As more and more baby boomers become senior citizens, they want to know what the next Mayor will do to enhance the quality of life for people as they age. According to the Canadian Association of Retired Persons (CARP), 70 per cent of Canadian citizens older than 65 "vote regularly," while general turnout in Toronto's last municipal election was 39 per cent.

Confirmed mayoral candidates Joe Pantalone, Rocco Rossi, George Smitherman and Sarah Thomson will attend to discuss their platforms and answer questions. The forum will be moderated by Terry Davies, a broadcast journalist for the past 35 years, as well as a news producer at CBC for 17 years.

Date: Wednesday, September 15 Time: 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Location: Better Living Health and Community Centre (1 Overland Drive)
