Advanced Data Systems receives eHealthConnecticut REC Qualified Vendor status

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

Advanced Data Systems (ADS) has been designated an eHealthConnecticut REC Qualified Vendor.  Qualified EHR Vendor status assures medical practices in CT that ADS and the MedicsDocAssistant EHR have met the REC's standards and criteria for inclusion in the eHealthConnecticut REC.

ADS has a longstanding and notable history of healthcare automation in CT.

David Barzillai, President of ADS said, "Our MedicsDocAssistant EHR V.5.2 with its 2011/2012 ONC-ATCB certification for Meaningful Use through CCHIT, provides tools to physicians for eliminating paper and increasing productivity through a much more streamlined and organized approach in capturing and storing patient data electronically.

"We are proud to have been selected as a Qualified EHR Vendor by the eHealthConnecticut REC, and we look forward to working with physicians throughout the state in implementing and the MedicsDocAssistant EHR," Mr. Barzillai added.

Steve Ruth of eHealthConnecticut noted, "EHRs will eliminate redundancy and errors in the healthcare arena, thereby creating a safer healthcare environment for both residents of CT and visitors to the state.  ADS has been named an eHealthConnecticut Qualified EHR Vendor with their MedicsDocAssistant EHR to assist in helping create that safer healthcare environment."

In addition to its functionality, The MedicsDocAssistant EHR will allow physicians ("eligible professionals" or "EPs") to obtain the maximum financial incentives to which they are entitled through the Stimulus Act for EHR meaningful usage.  Those incentives are as much as $44,000 (Medicare) or more than $64,000 (Medicaid) per eligible provider, not per practice.
