CIBER, Inc. (NYSE: CBR) today announced it has recently completed key IT projects for leading healthcare organizations to develop and implement solutions that have helped the clients reduce costs, improve speed to market and engage consumers.

CIBER's solutions for healthcare organizations are designed to address the key drivers that propel the healthcare industry. CIBER's healthcare solutions leverage its experience and talent in enterprise architecture, IT outsourcing, enterprise mobility, business analytics and digital marketing.

"CIBER's solutions and services allow our clients to focus on managing business transformation without sacrificing critical resources to the change process," said Dan Hoover, Vice President, Healthcare Practice, CIBER. "We have been a trusted change partner for numerous commercial payer and provider clients as well as federal and state government agencies."

At HIMSS 2011, the world's largest gathering of healthcare technology professionals, CIBER will be launching the proof-of-concept of its new mobile solution that will deliver critical real-time information for use by account executives as they face their customers. CIBER's enterprise mobility solutions for healthcare clients are complete with the necessary components required to implement custom mobile solutions.

CIBER is a leader in helping healthcare organizations of all sizes—from regional hospitals to nationwide healthcare networks—solve complex problems through the innovative application of IT solutions. CIBER has assisted more than 150 healthcare providers, 12 of the top 15 pharmaceutical manufacturers, more than 85 life sciences manufacturers and distributors, and more than 100 government and non-profit health organizations.

Most recently, CIBER has been instrumental in assisting the following clients:

Leading Healthcare Company, Minnesota– Serving more than 75 million people worldwide, this client is one of the leading healthcare firms in the US. CIBER leveraged its Global Solution Centers in the US to provide application development, testing and enterprise integration services. CIBER delivered 22% cost savings by developing a new core set of thought-leaders with specific business and technical intellectual property to architect "next generation" application designs.

Not-for-profit Insurance Company, North Carolina – This client is the largest health insurer in the state, with 4,600 employees serving more than 3.7 million customers. The client was experiencing high attrition rate of consultants and losing valuable knowledge base upon assignment expirations.  The client wanted to migrate to a more diverse delivery model for project-based work and outsourcing as their needs evolved in this direction. CIBER put in place a Managed Services Engagement to address immediate staffing needs and to ensure continuity of knowledge capital among consultants. CIBER helped the client significantly streamline its sourcing, interviewing, screening, on-boarding process, freeing-up hiring managers to focus on key operations.

Large Healthcare Provider, Wisconsin – CIBER has enjoyed an eight-year relationship with one of the largest integrated regional health care delivery systems in Wisconsin.  CIBER has assisted this client with various upgrades in the past and with their current reimplementation of Lawson Financials, Human Resources, and Payroll. This client partnered with CIBER to integrate business operations by creating an enterprise-wide common financial, human resources, and payroll system with Lawson software.  The client will also realize enhanced administration and reporting capabilities and gain the efficiencies of a consolidated ERP system and database.

University Medical Center – The client wanted to replace its current applications with a fully integrated human resources application. The client was already running Lawson Financials and Procurement. CIBER was selected to provide project and implementation expertise needed to support the client's critical success factors which include streamlining processes, ease of use and most importantly, increasing employee satisfaction while lowering costs.
