Claraview, a division of Teradata Corporation (NYSE: TDC), a strategy and technology consultancy focused on business intelligence (BI) and analytics, today announced the availability of its Healthcare Analytics Solutions for hospitals, clinics, physician-practices, long-term care facilities, pharmacy benefit managers and health insurers.

Faced with soaring costs, declining payer reimbursements, the need to improve operations and an increasing number of new and complex regulatory standards, a healthcare organization's performance and success can depend on its ability to gain timely access to decision-critical information. Claraview's Healthcare Analytics Solutions enable organizations to gain timely access to accurate and reliable data, enhance the quality of patient care and improve operational efficiencies.

Claraview's healthcare solutions combine industry-leading data warehouse expertise and a proven, repeatable methodology with healthcare data models and pre-packaged analytical reporting modules that are proven and scalable.  The solutions address key analytic needs such as clinical measures, financials, supply chain, patient throughput, quality and safety, marketing, and compliance reporting. The solutions also help an organization integrate complex data from Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Human Resources (HR), Bed Tracking, Computer Physician Order Entry (CPOE), supply chain, finance, and other operational systems into a common repository supporting reporting and analysis across the entire enterprise.

The solutions include six pre-defined C-Suite dashboard personas (CEO, COO, CMO, CFO, CNO, and VP-HR) including over 350 top-level KPIs defined for each persona, appropriate to the organizational role.

Claraview also offers a pre-built, healthcare-specific Healthcare Logical Data Model (HCLDM) for payers and providers that can jump start a company's data warehouse data modeling activity. The HCLDM not only reduces investment and time to implementation but also reduces risk and costly re-work by enabling rapid database prototyping and providing a solid foundation for current and future growth. Claraview is currently developing this combination of tools and solutions at leading healthcare organizations across the United States.

"Claraview's Healthcare Analytics Solutions are currently helping large and small healthcare organizations to merge financial, clinical and administrative data into a common repository to support analytical reporting," said David Silberstein, head of Claraview's healthcare practice. "This enables key stakeholders to make informed strategic and tactical decisions that are not currently possible when critical data remains bottled up in transactional and siloed reporting systems."
