Phoenix, Uniontown sign three year agreement for comprehensive IT infrastructure outsourcing services

Phoenix Health Systems, a premier provider of integrated information technology (IT) outsourcing and consulting services for healthcare organizations, announced today that Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, PA, has signed a three year agreement with Phoenix for comprehensive IT infrastructure outsourcing services.

Under the agreement, Phoenix will manage Uniontown's technical infrastructure, which include, leadership, 24/7 service desk operations, network (both voice and data), desktop and server management from both its Leveraged Service Center in Dallas, Texas and onsite at the hospital.  Phoenix will also implement its unique clinical end user support program which provides proactive management and onsite rapid IT response support to clinicians on duty at the hospital.  These services will provide a stable, reliable and scalable environment that will adapt to the hospital's changing needs as Uniontown implements Cerner's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to achieve Meaningful Use.
