Health is a hot topic amongst adults. But, dialoguing with children about healthy habits is equally important. Kids, today, need to be as proactive as adults in managing their health by making wholesome choices--whether for food or for their daily activities.
On Monday, February 28 at 6:00 p.m. Chicago Access Network (CAN-TV), Channel 21, will air a live call-in program, "Community Health," which will highlight the importance of involving children in creating healthy lifestyles of their own. The program also will highlight a new educational program being launched by the Bronzeville Children's Museum that teaches and inspires kids of all ages to make healthy choices.
Host Lenore Janecek, president and founder of SAVE THE PATIENT, and Peggy A. Montes, president and founder of the Bronzeville Children's Museum -- the country's first and only African-American children's museum -- will discuss ways to reach-out to your children and help them be as healthy as they can.
Viewers are encouraged to join in the program, by calling-in their questions about children's health education.
