Eliza Corporation, the leading provider of integrated healthcare communication strategies, will participate in a moderated discussion at the 2011 World Health Care Congress. The panel will shed light on some unexpected correlations between health, productivity, and the real life issues people are dealing with - plus strategies for elegantly assessing and addressing consumer perceptions of their healthcare.

"Behavior change is complex, and looking at health in isolation of life ignores real, messy factors like money concerns, a demanding job, or being a caregiver," said Drane. "Last October, we developed the 'Ostrich Index' to measure how well the healthcare industry is dealing with these 'Unmentionables' in the eyes of the people they serve. We'll share the results of a survey we did that sheds light on what people are struggling with when it comes to being their healthiest and most productive… how they're coping… and the potential levers we could pull to improve their outlook."

In addition to moderating the panel presentation, Drane will also host an informal luncheon roundtable to discuss what we can all do - as healthcare industry insiders and as parents, children and friends - to facilitate and document end-of-life preferences. The luncheon will take place on Tuesday, April 5 from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m.
