Stockell Healthcare Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce that Emerus Hospital Partners based in The Woodlands, Texas, has selected the company's InsightCS® Patient Access, Patient Accounting and Revenue Cycle Information software solution.

The implementation is part of a major information systems initiative for the organization's five emergency service delivery facilities (three in the Houston area and two in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex).

Emerus also selected the Ingenix/Picis ED PulseCheck™ clinical information system and will be integrating it with InsightCS® to achieve true, end-to-end electronic patient care and patient information management.

"Stockell's proven success in integrating with Picis was a key component in our selection.  We are looking forward to having a solution that offers complete interoperability with other systems," said David Stillwell, chief operating officer of Emerus.

Richard B. Stockell, president of Stockell Healthcare, stated, "We are excited about the opportunity to provide our full suite of advanced Patient Access and Revenue Cycle Management solutions to Emerus.  Specialty hospitals, including ED hospitals like Emerus, are at the heart of local healthcare service delivery and represent a very important market segment for us."
