InTouch Health launches expanded suite of clinical workflow documentation and imaging solutions for telemedicine

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

InTouch Health® announced today the launch of an expanded suite of clinical workflow documentation and imaging solutions designed specifically for telemedicine. As cloud-based SaaS applications, SureNOTES™, SurePACS™, and StrokeRESPOND® are highly customizable to any clinical service, and provide a simple uniform toolset for the consulting physician while meeting the requirements of institutions' specific approved medical forms.

“We are looking forward to the release of StrokeRESPOND 3.0”

InTouch Health's hospital and physician customers are building large telemedicine networks of affiliated and non-affiliated hospitals over which specialty physician services are delivered. In these networks physicians provide virtual consults to patients where real-time access to medical records and imaging are paramount to achieving accurate diagnoses. Moreover, acute care consults require written medical orders, documented progress of care, and access to medical records for follow-up care - all across disparate hospital locations and medical records systems. InTouch Health's workflow solutions provide a rapidly scalable and adaptive platform for physician services such as stroke, critical care, pediatrics, trauma, cardiology and psychiatry.

"SureNOTES is an important addition to our telemedicine toolset," commented Peter Weitzman, MD, Chief Medical Officer of Confera, a physician organization specializing in telemedicine hospitalist medicine and sub-specialty care based in Spokane, WA. "With SureNOTES, we can write and distribute our order sets and consultation notes in real-time to any of our partner hospitals, improving the documentation and delivery of care. Because SureNOTES is so flexible, we can quickly add new order sets and notes to address the workflow needs of new and existing partners."

StrokeRESPOND 3.0 is tailored to the management of stroke patients. Through SurePACS, physicians are able to view virtual PACS imaging from any remote location allowing for timely diagnosis and effective decision making. StrokeRESPOND is designed specifically to support an expert physician's acute stroke management workflow, capturing data elements relevant to the prescription of rt-PA. StrokeRESPOND and SurePACS provide a highly flexible stroke-care solution, allowing customers to expand the management of stroke patients beyond the acute phase of care.

"We are looking forward to the release of StrokeRESPOND 3.0," commented Jeanne Birch, RN, BSN, Neurovascular Coordinator at Jeffersons Hospital for Neuroscience. "It will provide our institution with the opportunity to design a customized remote assessment tool and provide more comprehensive documentation of our specialist's consultation and recommendation(s) to participating members of the Jefferson Neuroscience Network."

InTouch Health will showcase its complete suite of telemedicine products and services at the American Telemedicine Association annual meeting in Tampa, FL on May 1 - 3, 2011. To see a demonstration at this conference, please visit InTouch Health at Booth #1217.
