Prashant Srivastava, COO of Evive Health, will discuss the latest health and fitness technologies available to help employers better engage their employees in health and wellness on "Tech Talk with Craig Peterson," airing Sunday, May 1, at 4 p.m. EDT.

"One of the most effective tools we have today to improve consumer health and better manage health costs is employer-sponsored wellness plans," said Srivastava. "But these plans are not effective if employees don't participate. Employers cite low employee engagement as the number one barrier to improving employee health and reducing healthcare costs."

Evive Health is developing new technologies utilizing decision science and behavioral economics applications to help employers nudge employees toward healthier lifestyles. Through their programs, Evive is increasing employee participation in health and wellness plans by 14-19 percent in the first year alone.

The "Tech Talk" radio health and fitness segment will air from 4-7 p.m. EDT on WGIR-AM 610, Boston, or can be heard online at WGIR-AM. "Tech Talk" is known as the number one radio show in the Boston market and the number one tech show in the nation, with more than 4 million downloads.
