On Tuesday, June 14th, Dr. Michael Stover of Loyola University Health System will give a free lecture in Burr Ridge on the muscle-preserving anterior-approach hip replacement surgery.

The technique results in shorter recovery time and less pain, with no motion restrictions and decreased dislocation rates.

Stover has done more than 300 anterior-approach hip replacements, making him one of the nation's most experienced surgeons in this technique. He is an associate professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery & Rehabilitation and medical director, Orthopaedic Trauma, at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.

Stover will speak from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Loyola Center for Health, 6800 N. Frontage Road, Burr Ridge.
