Proact supplies storage systems to Sint Franciscus hospital

The Sint Franciscus Gasthuis is a major hospital with a rich history and offers care covering a wide range of specialisms. The solution supplied by Proact consists of two completely redundant storage systems. As well as very high performance the solution also offers maximum availability of data using stable snapshot technology and synchronous mirroring to the second location. This cross replication means that the storage systems provide fallback for each other. This is a relatively simple way to realise a complete fallback environment for Sint Franciscus Gasthuis. The storage systems are also equipped with four storage controllers per system and the most advanced, self-optimising, Thin Provisioning technology. The solution is very simple to manage and ensures that the number of manual actions in the area of backup and recovery are massively reduced.
