RaySearch Laboratories AB (STO:RAYB) has received an order for its RayStation® treatment planning system from Advanced Radiation Oncology Services (Advanced ROS) in Nyack, New York.

Advanced ROS is a state-of-the-art, free standing cancer center that offers comprehensive radiation therapy services to patients throughout the Hudson Valley and Northern New Jersey.

Advanced ROS will use RayStation® as its treatment planning system for conventional 3D-CRT treatments, as well as more advanced treatments, such as IMRT. The order also includes advanced tools enabling a more efficient treatment planning process, such as Multi-Criteria optimization. Advanced ROS will begin the implementation in late August with plans of being clinical in early September.

"RayStation provides our center with a complete and comprehensive treatment planning solution. We needed new functionality within IMRT plan analysis, deformable registration and multi-criteria optimization. We found RayStation to be the system to meet our needs, both in the present and future considerations," says Dr. James Gerstley, Radiation Oncologist and Co-Director at Advanced ROS.

Johan Löf, CEO of RaySearch Laboratories AB says: "We welcome Advanced ROS to the RayStation family. Our cutting edge technology compliments a center that offers regional patients the highest standard of care with leading technology."

"Advanced ROS offers a top-notch treatment team and we are very excited to implement our technologies within a center with skilled staff and innovative technologies," concludes Marc Mlyn, President of RaySearch Americas.
