Kofax plc (LSE: KFX), a leading provider of capture driven business process automation solutions, today announced it will provide the Atalasoft DotImage software development kit (SDK) to a leading health insurance provider in the United States. The value of the contract to Kofax exceeds $150,000.

The client, one of the country's oldest and largest health insurance providers, will implement the Atalasoft DotImage SDK to enable the processing of PDF and TIFF document images in its Medicare division. The Atalasoft DotImage SDK allows users to easily add imaging capabilities to their .NET applications, significantly reducing development effort and costs.

"The Atalasoft DotImage SDK allows companies and government agencies to increase efficiency by reducing much of the effort and costs associated with image enabling an application," said Alan Kerr, Executive Vice President of Field Operations at Kofax. "By unlocking the information contained in images, organizations enable accelerated capture driven processes across the enterprise to drive efficiency and reduce costs."
