One can now dictate patient observations on the way home from the clinic and view the transcripts the following morning. Calls for "Accessibility anywhere, anytime" have already started rending the air around healthcare, and here is an app that seeks to do just that!

Orra Health is a transcription software that combines the functions of a robust digital audio recorder and an efficient file management system with secure upload options. It helps getting one's medical dictations transcribed by the most experienced transcriptionists in the industry. It also comes with a highly user-friendly web interface and a comprehensive analytics indicating the exact number of lines transcribed by the transcriptionists. Launched recently, this app is built exclusively on the IOS platform and is available for free download from the Apple app store.

"The solution seeks to provide absolute convenience to the physician fraternity at large across the board in the US, UK and Australia," says Mr. Rajesh Doshi, Executive Director, Acroseas Global Solutions. "Physicians running tight schedules shuttling between clinics for attending emergency cases during unearthly hours have to waste a lot of time and run the risk of violating regulatory compliance requirements pertaining to maintenance of patient health records. The Orra Health transcription software seeks to help physicians who are caught between exceeding responsibilities and time management through a quality solution both secured and accurate," explains Mr. Doshi.

Citing a recent news report from Jackson & Coker which puts the percentage growth of physicians in the US using tablets and phones in their regular practice from the present 38% to 50% by the end of 2012, he says that the company is all set to ride on this new wave and is putting out an Android version of the app in the coming 3 weeks.

Summing up, Mr. Doshi asserts that "Acroseas would continue to endeavor providing maximum convenience to physicians in all its future launches."
