The Senate Ways and Means Committee today endorsed a bill that would create a joint legislative committee to oversee the implementation of KanCare, Gov. Sam Brownback's plan to move virtually all the state's Medicaid beneficiaries into managed care plans. ... [Sens.] Vratil and McGinn are among the 22 senators who signed a resolution earlier this month, urging the governor to delay KanCare's start by six months (Ranney, 3/20).
