Optimal Radiology, a leading provider of comprehensive radiology solutions to hospitals nationwide, has added Ty Cobb Regional Medical Center (TCRMC) in Lavonia, Ga., to its growing roster of clients.

Formerly known as Optimal IMX, Optimal Radiology will implement custom radiology staffing and management solutions for the newly constructed hospital. In addition to providing on-site physician coverage and management support, TCRMC will have 24/7 access to highly specialized radiologists through Optimal's teleradiology network.

"We are pleased to partner with Ty Cobb Regional Medical Center to provide radiology solutions that support their ongoing quality and performance improvement initiatives," said Jonathan Grimes, Optimal Radiology President and Chief Executive Officer. "As a high performing organization, TCRMC recognizes the important role a strong radiology department can play in the overall health of a hospital. We look forward to helping them create and sustain a successful solution that positively impacts patient outcomes, physician satisfaction and overall efficiency.

Opened in June 2012, TCRMC is a not-for-profit hospital providing state-of-the-art care to the people of Northeast Georgia. It joins a growing number of providers ranging from small community hospitals to large, investor owned and not-for-profit facilities that have turned to Optimal to further elevate the quality and efficiency of their radiology departments.

"As a small community hospital, ensuring the stability and quality of our medical staff is essential," said David H. Seagraves, Chief Executive Officer of Ty Cobb Regional Medical Center. "From recruiting the right physician for our community to flawlessly implementing a radiology solution that will grow with us as we continue to elevate the level of care we provide, we have been pleased with Optimal's support every step of the way."
