Opponents of the Affordable Care Act's contraceptive coverage mandate have filed a total of 35 lawsuits against it so far, and they're hoping that at least one will result in the mandate being overturned. … Last week in one of the largest political statements made to date in the matter, 13 states filed an amicus brief in the D.C. Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals in support of a challenge to the mandate (Pittman, 10/15).
