NewsGuard 100/100 Score

For the second year in a row, which is also the second year that The Leapfrog Group has issued letter grades for hospital safety, Porter Adventist Hospital has earned an "A" for overall performance in keeping patients safe from preventable harm and medical errors.

This award is the latest in a string of honors that Porter Adventist Hospital has received for quality and safety in 2013. In addition to the "A" rating from The Leapfrog Group, the hospital was also one of only six Colorado hospitals to receive the 2013 Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award™.

Since its founding in 1930, Porter Adventist Hospital has maintained that patient safety and clinical quality is always the hospital's top priority and its single most important job. Today, Porter Adventist Hospital upholds the highest medical standards, enforces the most rigorous clinical requirements, and has an unwavering commitment to patient safety.
