Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell charged on Sunday that President Barack Obama is "selectively delaying" parts of the federal health care law ... "For example, they decided to say 'never mind' on the employer mandate. What about the individual mandate? Does the president get to decide which parts of the law to comply with and which parts not," the Republican senator from Kentucky said on NBC's "Meet the Press" (Summers, 7/14).

Politico: Reid: Obamacare 'Wonderful'
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Sunday that Obamacare has been "wonderful for America" and that Republican lawmakers should stop the series of symbolic votes to repeal the healthcare reform law. "You realized they've voted to repeal it 40 times? What's happened 40 times, of course it's failed," Reid said on NBC's "Meet the Press." "Obamacare has been wonderful for America" (Summers, 7/14).

The Washington Post: Reid: 'Obamacare Has Been Wonderful For America'

"They should just get real and understand this is a law that's important, and they need to work with us to improve it,&quot he said. Appearing later on the same program, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Obamacare will be the &quotpremier&quot issue in the next election and defended repeated GOP efforts to repeal it  (Blake, 7/14).
