Chevy Chase, MD-A new major collaborative partnership among international hormone health organizations will help promote endocrinology on the Indian sub-continent. The Endocrine Society has joined the Endocrine Society of India (ESI), the Society for Endocrinology in the United Kingdom and International Society of Endocrinology (ISE) to host the inaugural International Clinical Update program in Endocrinology (ICUE), February 1-2 in Hyderabad, India.
The ICUE initiative will bring together a wealth of world-renowned experts from across the entire endocrine spectrum, including pediatrics, internal medicine, endocrinology, gynecology, urology, andrology and orthopedics. The event will showcase the best and latest innovations and clinical research while providing delegates with a unique opportunity to network with peers from across the world.
"This meeting is part of a broader effort to bring cutting-edge programming to physicians in India, one of the fastest-growing hubs for scientific and academic research worldwide," said Teresa Woodruff, PhD, president of The Endocrine Society. "Making educational programs accessible to endocrinologists around the world is one of the Society's top initiatives, and the International Clinical Update program promises to be the largest event we've supported in India to date."
The Endocrine Society has collaborated with the Endocrine Society of India and other organizations to host medical education programs in India since 2010.
