Held at Messe Dusseldorf, Germany from 20-23 November 2013, Medica will provide the launch platform for the  first product in the new µPREP™ range: µPREP™ Buffered Peptone Water ISO (BPW). Formulated to ISO 6579 and using  Lab M’s proven dehydrated culture media, µPREP™ BPW ISO is made ready to use simply by adding water, providing a rapid, convenient, reliable and cost-effective solution to high throughput Salmonella testing laboratories.

“We are extremely excited to be coming back to Medica, this time with our new µPREP™ product range,” said Managing Director Ian Morris. “It has been an extremely productive 2013 for the Lab M team, having also recently launched Captivate™ O121, an important addition to our immunomagnetic separation range”.

Captivate™ O121 is used for the separation and concentration of Escherichia coli O121, a non-O157 Shiga Toxin-Producing Escherichia coli (STEC)  associated with foodborne infection.
