MEDIAN Technologies announces participation in World Conference on Lung Cancer

MEDIAN Technologies (Paris:ALMDT), a leading medical imaging software solutions developer and a service provider for image interpretation and management in oncology clinical trials and clinical routine, today announced its participation in the World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC2013), to be held October 27-30, in Sydney, Australia.

During the WCLC2013, the world's premier conference on lung cancer organized every two years by the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer -IASLC-, MEDIAN's team will be available at Booth 1506 to give demonstrations of MEDIAN's advanced medical imaging solutions LMS for screening, diagnosing, and monitoring cancer patients in clinical routine and clinical trials. MEDIAN will present its offering to develop and monitor CT Lung Cancer Screening programs regionally.

In parallel, MEDIAN Technologies has coauthored a poster publication presented by Saga University, Japan: "Evaluation of a Cloud-based Solution for Local Imaging Evaluations in Clinical Trials for Lung Cancer" scheduled October, 28th, 9:30 to 4:30 in the Exhibit Hall of the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. The goal of the study is to evaluate a cloud-based paradigm implementing software solutions and services that standardize imaging evaluations among international investigator sites. The study shows the feasibility of imaging evaluations based on cloud services for a clinical study involving multiple international sites. The study was performed using MEDIAN's Lesion Management Solutions (LMS) and MEDIAN's Clinical Trial Imaging Services (CTIS).
