MHS, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital team up to implement OptIC Inventory Service

Management Health Solutions (MHS) has partnered with MedStar Georgetown University Hospital to utilize its OptIC™ Inventory Service. The implementation of the OptIC Inventory Service will enhance visibility and accountability in the hospital's supply chain. MHS' comprehensive technology and specialty services platform will help MedStar Georgetown realize significant, recurring, hard-dollar, P&L savings on their supply spend. With OptIC™ enhancing the effectiveness of supply chain staff, MedStar Georgetown will benefit in several areas including reducing expired inventory and expedited freight costs as well as optimizing the supply chain and case carts. Early results have shown that OptIC™ will help MedStar Georgetown save 2-5% of their applicable supply spend, a significant and tangible benefit.
