As Baby Boomers continue to face aging and deteriorating health, the demand for Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy (BHRT) via safe and natural methods continues to grow. As the interest in BHRT spreads across this demographic, the medical field is quickly ramping up on appropriate training to treat patients.

SottoPelle® Founder and Medical Director Dr. Gino Tutera, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., and his qualified team provide physician education and expert training in his proprietary, patent-pending, Web-based BioCalc® system of natural bio-identical hormone pellet therapy, which provides precision dosing individualized for each patient for optimal health, hormonal balance and disease prevention.

SottoPelle® is an international medical company and respected hormone therapy leader based in Scottsdale, Ariz., with nearly 200 affiliate doctors in the United States. The BioCalc® method was developed over 23 years ago by Dr. Tutera, who is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with 40 years of clinical experience and widely recognized as a pioneer in hormone therapy.

The success of this treatment has led to the recent expansion of SottoPelle®'s Tutera Institute, with an ongoing series of physician trainings at three new centers across the country. The goal is to extend the availability of its highly specialized medical training to better serve doctors interested in learning SottoPelle®'s hormone pellet therapy for men and women. The Tutera Institute now provides the following schedule of additional training sessions to educate doctors in the BioCalc® method, with the support of two additional physicians:

  1. Scottsdale, Ariz., at SottoPelle® headquarters with Dr. Tutera; Mondays Oct. 6, Nov. 3 and Dec. 8
  2. Jacksonville, Fla., with Dr. Kenneth Sekine, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., of North Florida Hormone Therapy (www.northfloridahormonetherapy.com); Saturdays October 18 and November 15
  3. Kansas City, Mo., with Dr. James Mirabile, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., of Mirabile MD Beauty, Health & Wellness (www.mirabilemd.com); Saturdays October 25 and November 22

Drs. Sekine and Mirabile are board-certified obstetricians and gynecologists with 55 years of combined experience and who have been trained by Dr. Tutera in BioCalc® dosing. They were recently appointed to the SottoPelle® Advisory Board, a newly-named team comprised of outstanding medical and business professionals who offer vast expertise in their respective fields (http://www.sottopelletherapy.com/advisory-board). The board's mission is to advance awareness and bring the importance of quality precision-dosed bio-identical hormone pellet therapy to mainstream America.

"Our physicians receive invaluable insight and training that is the product of my two decades of experience with thousands of patients," stated Dr. Tutera. "Anyone can place pellets and you will find many who will try, but nobody understands your body with pellets like the experts at SottoPelle®, as we have this medical science down to an art form."

Doctors can enroll in the trainings and obtain more information at http://doctors.sottopelletherapy.com. All of SottoPelle®'s existing affiliate physicians are encouraged to attend these sessions for further development and updates on the best practices and medical research in Age Management Medicine.

"Learning firsthand with Dr. Tutera has been an unparalleled experience," said Dr. Mirabile. "It has increased my knowledge about both women and men's health and the phenomenal benefits they receive from SottoPelle® pellets. The training of new physicians around the country and participating with continuing education of the present SottoPelle® physicians is very rewarding. I am actively helping other practitioners administer the therapies that benefit their patients and improve their lives."

"Now physicians from across the country will have the opportunity to learn about SottoPelle at our practice in Jacksonville, Florida," stated Dr. Sekine, founder of North Florida Hormone Therapy, an approved SottoPelle training physician. "We are pleased to know that SottoPelle patients from across the country will now be able to attain a steady low dose of natural hormones and control the release of the hormones, just as when their ovaries and testicles were working normally."

"North Florida Hormone Therapy is honored to be chosen as the training facility for SottoPelle and East Coast physicians," Dr Sekine said. "Our staff is highly trained and knowledgeable in the renowned SottoPelle method and our patients appreciate the outstanding results of hormone pellet therapy. We treat our patients with balanced hormones to live healthy lives and to alleviate their hormone level decline and imbalance along with a multitude of distressing symptoms."

What is SottoPelle® and BioCalc ®?

Developed by Dr. Gino Tutera, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., more than two decades ago, SottoPelle® is an evidence-based proprietary method of BHRT. It differs from traditional Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) by offering a precise, Web-based, individualized dosage delivery system (BioCalc®) prescribed for each patient's specific medical needs. It is administered subcutaneously through natural pellets whose molecular structure mimics the body's natural hormones. The treatment uses the highest quality plant-based pellets and SottoPelle®'s patent-pending BioCalc® dosing application via a unique insertion technique to generate steady and consistent serum levels for patients. Unlike many of today's synthetic hormones with one-size-fits-all generic doses, SottoPelle® delivers a consistent flow of natural hormones on a 24-7 basis to support better health.
