OUP announces launch of new journal that focuses on worker aging and retirement

Oxford University Press (OUP) is pleased to announce the launch of a new interdisciplinary journal, Work, Aging and Retirement, which is published in association with Lingnan (University) College of Sun Yat-sen University. The first issue is now available online and can be accessed at http://workar.oxfordjournals.org/content/1/1. The journal will initially be freely accessible.

"The editorial goal of Work, Aging and Retirement is to provide a peer-reviewed outlet whose content is dedicated solely to evidence-based, translational research on worker aging and retirement. My editorial team and I are extremely grateful to Oxford University Press and the Lingnan (University) College of Sun Yat-sen University for the launch of this journal. This research area is booming and the launch of this journal addresses a significant and urgent gap for creating a publication forum that enhances understanding of these phenomena. Work, Aging and Retirement reflects a broad community of professionals in the fields of psychology, sociology, economics, gerontology, business and management, and industrial labor relations. It aims to publish high-quality research that will generate interest from public policy makers, organizational decision makers, human resource professionals, and older worker advocates for the policy implications that these papers bear. Work, Aging and Retirement encourages an international perspective, publishing research and findings from various countries, regions, and entities that are governed by different socio-economic policies.
