Novation today announced its dual-contract award in the Bone Densitometry category. Hologic, Inc. and Swissray International Inc. were both awarded agreements, replacing incumbent GE Healthcare in this category.

"This is a very important clinical category in the area of women's health and Novation is happy that it has two excellent awardees for the membership and affiliates we serve," said Mike Clemens, Novation's vice president contract and program services. "Of the suppliers that participated in the competitive bid process, Hologic and Swissray offered the most comprehensive value from both a clinical and financial standpoint."

The contract becomes effective July 1, 2015, and will run for a three-year period.
