Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business named Ropes & Gray the winner of the Award for Excellence, honoring it as the firm of the year for health care at a ceremony on May 19 in New York. The award reflects the firm's preeminence in the health care industry and is based on independent research by Chambers & Partners from 2014 – 2015, citing both client feedback and market commentary from lawyers outside of the firm.

"We are thrilled to receive this outstanding honor from Chambers USA, particularly because this award reflects client recognition of our dedication to client service and working with them to resolve their most challenging legal issues yet respecting their business demands," said Deborah Gersh, co-chair of the health care practice group.

Ropes & Gray is home to one of the nation's first practices dedicated to health care law. Nationwide, lawyers in the health care practice group are based in several key geographic locations such as Boston, Chicago, New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.

"This award is a testament to the high quality of work performed by attorneys across the firm and our world-class commitment to helping clients navigate a broad range of complex regulatory and business challenges," said Timothy McCrystal, co-chair of the health care practice group.
