DaVita HealthCare Partners Inc. (NYSE: DVA), one of the largest and most innovative health care communities, today announced the company has expanded its office space to include two more floors of the Gates Building, located at 1551 Wewatta Street in Lower Downtown Denver.

"We have created more than 1,200 local jobs since moving our world headquarters to Denver five years ago," said Kent Thiry, chairman and CEO of DaVita HealthCare Partners. "As our Denver community continues to grow, we want our teammates to stay close and connected with one another."

After moving from Los Angeles to Denver in 2010, DaVita HealthCare Partners' headquarters temporarily resided in the Gates Building until construction was complete on its new world headquarters, located at 2000 16th Street. The company retained offices in the Gates Building and will now occupy six of its 10 floors.

The new space mirrors the aesthetics of the company's world headquarters building with bright colors, numerous pathways and dynamic graphics to promote the DaVita HealthCare Partners culture.

"We want to encourage a positive teammate environment while also sending ripples into the community and contributing to the growth of Lower Downtown Denver," said Dave Hoerman, vice president of Wisdom for DaVita HealthCare Partners. "We work to ensure that all our workspaces are thoughtfully created in a way that is unique to DaVita HealthCare Partners."
