At Caltrol, we believe we are better together—when partnering with other companies who share our values and can complement our products and services to bring even broader range of service solutions to customers. That's why we are proud to announce a new partnership with RS Calibration Services, Inc. that will benefit pharmaceutical, biomedical and medical device companies throughout California.

"RS Calibration Services will serve as an extension of our Services Business Unit to perform high-quality calibration services for our life sciences customers and give us the ability to truly provide it all when it comes to industrial process automation," says Joe Taormina, CEO of Caltrol. "We are also excited about the opportunity to explore how Caltrol's products and solutions might be a match for RS Calibration Services' customers."

Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, with offices across California, Arizona and Hawaii, Caltrol is a leader in industrial process automation—consulting on, engineering, delivering and servicing high-quality solutions of all sizes and complexity to companies in the life sciences, refining, gas utilities and pipeline, power, oil exploration and production and more industries. It has been employee-owned since 1934 and is one of the oldest and largest local business partners for Emerson process management, a division of Emerson. It is also representative for other leading automation manufacturers that complement Emerson's products and expertise.

Based in Pleasanton, California, serving customers in Northern California, Southern California and Tucson, Arizona, RS Calibration Services specializes in providing quality calibration, validation and quality engineering services to companies in the life sciences industry, the majority of which work in FDA-regulated environments. The company celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2015. It offers in-house lab calibration, on-site field service calibration and validations services, 24/7 online support for customers to view work and status updates and solid quality management systems that make all work documented and traceable.

"We believe this partnership between our two companies has the potential to deliver outstanding solution-based products and services that will result in real, measurable value to our customers," says Pete Sweetnam, President of RS Calibration Services. Caltrol and RS Calibration Services first worked together earlier this year when a Caltrol customer required calibration services in their facility. It was a huge success, so the two companies decided to formalize the partnership. "It was just a natural fit," says Richard Lysaght, RS Calibration Services Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Development. "Because we're focused on life sciences, calibration, validation and quality engineering services and have a proven track record with a large customer base, it simply made sense that we develop an ongoing relationship."

"We're very excited about the new relationship," adds Richard. "We recognize that Caltrol is a high-quality product and solutions provider, and we are as well, in terms of the services we provide to our customers. We recognize that by working together, we can provide more complete solutions to customers on both sides, with the number one focus on supporting the customer needs."
