Radiology practice team members will obtain quality improvement strategies to enhance patient safety and practice quality infrastructure at the American College of Radiology (ACR) Annual Conference on Quality and Safety. The conference, which will be held Sept. 16-17 in Boston, will also encourage greater operational synergy within teams.
"Radiology practices must implement an effective quality infrastructure to provide continuous practice performance improvements, especially with today's health care transition to value-based imaging care," said Jonathan Kruskal, MD, PhD, chair of the ACR Quality Management Committee and program co-chair. "Attendees at the ACR Annual Conference on Quality and Safety will learn practical strategies to increase the value of their practices through improved patient care at lower costs," added David B. Larson, MD, MBA, program co-chair.
The new and interactive program — designed for physicians, practice leaders, technologists, business managers, and hospital staff and administrators or others in the health care team — allows attendees to select specialized tracks in practice leadership, organizational effectiveness, patient safety, compliance and informatics.
