President and CEO of Donor Alliance receives AOPO Cryolife Achievement Award

Sue Dunn, president and CEO of Donor Alliance, is the 2014 recipient of the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO) Cryolife Achievement Award, a national distinction.

Donor Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives through organ and tissue donation and transplantation. As the organ and tissue procurement agency for Colorado and most of Wyoming, Donor Alliance serves more than 5.8 million residents and more than 100 hospitals. 

Dunn, who is also celebrating 25 years of service to Donor Alliance this year, was selected for the national recognition by AOPO due to her outstanding management achievements and innovative practices in the industry. Each year since Dunn joined Donor Alliance Colorado and Wyoming have been among the top states for organ and tissue donation in the country.

The award was presented to Dunn last week at the AOPO Annual Meeting in Baltimore, MD.
