Sound Physicians partners with Albemarle Hospital for providing hospitalist services

Sound Physicians, a leading hospitalist organization focused on driving improvements in quality, satisfaction and financial performance of inpatient healthcare delivery, announced today an agreement to provide hospitalist services for Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City, N.C.

Albemarle Hospital is a regional leader in patient satisfaction, offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, cardiology, surgery, imaging and therapeutic services. Sound Physicians will partner with a team of 10 hospitalists at Albemarle Hospital, contributing its physician leadership, engaged teams and best practices in patient experience.

Working with Albemarle Hospital's leadership team, Sound Physicians will introduce its SoundConnect workflow and communications platform and processes to drive improvements in inpatient care outcomes, as well as financial performance. Sound Physicians will also apply its expertise in building high-performing hospitalist practices, including strong physician leadership, revenue cycle management and a track record of physician recruiting success.
