STEMCELL Technologies to conduct a two-day stem cell training program

STEMCELL Technologies has announced the schedule for their fall training program. This includes 2-day courses on mesenchymal stem cell biology (October 2^nd and 3^rd), mammary stem cell biology (October 17^th and 18^th), neural stem cell biology (October 30^th and 31^st), hematopoietic stem cell biology (October 30^th and 31^st), and human embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cell biology (November 14^th and 15^th). All courses will be taught at STEMCELL Technologies’ Vancouver location.

“At STEMCELL Technologies, we are dedicated to providing standardized tools and reagents in order to advance research, but this is only half the story,” said Dr. Chantal Proulx, Technical Support Manager at STEMCELL Technologies. “Providing detailed training courses to standardize the techniques that people use to grow their cells is also a key part of the equation.”

All the training courses will be taught by experts who have developed many of the techniques and tools used in the research area. The focus of the courses will be hands-on instruction, with some lectures also included.
