AccuDial Pharmaceutical introduces eight new OTC medications in Canada

AccuDial® Pharmaceutical, Inc. delivered a power-packed launch with their new family of eight over-the-counter (OTC) medications in Canada. Colorful floor displays enjoyed prominent placement in every Quebec Walmart pharmacy, and were filled with AccuDial's pain and fever, allergy, and cough and cold pediatric medications.

By the end of March, Children's AccuDial should be available in over 50% of Canadian pharmacies including other major grocery and drugstore outlets. A robust advertising campaign with full-page color magazine ads, embedded online banners featuring the smiling AccuKid™, and strategic Web marketing initiatives and search engine optimization, are aligned to reach consumers and medical professionals.

Recently, the popular daytime TV show "The Doctors" featured a segment on weight-based dosing with pediatrician Dr. Jim Sears. "Studies show that children are given inaccurate doses of over-the-counter medication over 50% of the time," Dr. Sears stated. He went on to say that, "as pediatricians, we always dose by weight. The AccuDial weight-based label gives specific doses by weight... and it comes with its own dosing spoon, so it's accurate."

AccuDial Pharmaceutical's patented, weight-based dosing products were designed to effectively administer its children's pain and fever, allergy, and cough and cold medications. A parent simply turns the label until their child's weight appears in the viewing window and the correct dose is shown below the weight. A dosing spoon is included in each package so parents can easily measure and administer the medication.
