Cancer patients in Marana now have more options for cancer care. Arizona Oncology physicians will now treat patients at Marana Healthcare Clinic (MHC). Drs. Laurie Chen and Y. Haroon Ahmad, medical oncologists, are now actively caring for patients at MHC.

"We are happy to provide access to cancer patients locally," Dr. Ahmad said. "By providing cancer care services in Marana we are able to improve the care delivery system and more efficiently treat patients in the community."

Arizona Oncology is committed to providing convenient access to advanced cancer care and treats more patients in Arizona than any other cancer provider in the state. The practice provided more than $3 million in patient support for their cancer patients last year.

"With more than 23 locations throughout the state, the physicians and staff of Arizona Oncology put patient care first and are committed to bring cancer care to local communities throughout Arizona," Dr. Chen said. "We are delighted that we can continue to provide this high-quality cancer care to patients in Marana."

"Dr. Chen and Dr. Ahmad are exceptional physicians and cancer experts," said Mary A. Carter, site administrator with MHC. "We are extremely excited that they will be treating patients in Marana."
